Meet the Staff

Sarah Shayan is a pre-health student and received her bachelors in Biology from Florida International University.  Her work focuses on experiences in graduate-level research and clinical settings to expand and apply in her future Dental career. She is passionate about community health and raising awareness of issues related to preventative dental health care.

She is a member of Beta Beta Beta national Pre-health honor society, where she served as community service chair before graduating. She is currently studying a post-bachelorette in Liberal Science Studies while working at Smile at Margate as a Front desk. She enjoys doing Zumba and spending time with her family and friends.  

Satt Shayan has many years of experience in management and human resources. Currently, he is the Smile at Margate Manager where his mission is to provide patients with the utmost care. He enjoys watching sports like soccer.

My name is Maria Atalaya. I am 39 years old. I was born in Peru on September 10th, 1979. I have three beautiful daughters, and a dog named teddy he is like a son in my eyes. I love to travel with my family as well. I graduated in 2015 as a dental assistant. Ever since then I have been with Smile of Margate team since 2016. it has been a great experience. I learned new things and meet new people. My favorite part of dentistry is seeing the results of the beautiful cosmetic dentistry and what it can do for my patients. I have a friendly chairside manner which helps my patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit. Being a dental assistant couldn’t be any better.
