Meet the Staff

Dr. Mildred Collazo graduated in Cuba as a General Dentist in 2003. She later worked diligently to obtain her dental credentials in the United States while attending the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. In 2011, she graduated with High Distinction, earning multiple awards in Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Brooke Stevens is a skilled and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She is proud to be part of the team at Smile at Margate, where she helps patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Dr. Stevens earned her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, where she was a Provost Scholar and collegiate tennis athlete. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia and completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She provides comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, with a special interest in aesthetics and facial harmony. Dr. Stevens also offers Invisalign and facial aesthetic treatments and has completed advanced training at the Institute of Advanced Dental Education.

Licensed in both Florida and Georgia, Dr. Stevens is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association for Women Dentists. She is passionate about patient education, gentle care, and long-term oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. Stevens enjoys staying active through tennis, golf, pickleball, and beach volleyball, and spending time with her family. She’s also a proud fan of the Ole Miss Rebels, Miami Dolphins, and Florida Panthers.

Martha Talavera is originally from Nicaragua and has proudly called the United States home for over 15 years. She is warm, friendly, and naturally people-oriented, finding genuine joy in connecting with others and treating every patient with the same care, kindness, and respect she would want for herself. With over 10 years of experience in the dental field, primarily as a Treatment Plan and Scheduling Coordinator, Martha is passionate about guiding patients through their dental care with clarity and compassion, helping them feel informed, supported, and at ease every step of the way. She believes great dental care starts with trust, ends with a smile—and doesn’t have to include fear of the front desk.

Audrey Vargas is a dedicated Dental Assistant with a strong clinical background as a Dentist graduated in Venezuela. Her education and experience provide her with a deep understanding of dentistry and patient-centered care.

Known for her calm, caring, and professional demeanor, Audrey is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during every visit. She enjoys working chairside and takes pride in being part of a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality dental care and positive patient experiences.

In addition to her clinical role, Audrey coordinates dental laboratory cases, ensuring precise communication and accurate outcomes. She also manages the office’s social media presence, where she blends creativity, photography, and education to showcase the practice, connect with patients, and maintain a warm, professional online image.

Audrey believes in teamwork, continuous learning, and providing care with empathy and dedication. She finds joy in capturing smiles—both through dentistry and through her passion for photography.

Daniela is a dedicated dental assistant from Venezuela with a genuine passion for patient care and comfort. At the heart of her work is a warm smile and a commitment to making every patient feel welcomed, relaxed, and at ease from the moment they arrive at the clinic.

She takes pride in providing high-quality support throughout each treatment, helping create a calm and pleasant environment where patients can feel confident and cared for. Daniela believes that exceptional dental care begins with kindness, empathy, and attention to detail.

Outside the clinic, Daniela enjoys spending quality time with her family, being outdoors, traveling whenever possible, and creating delicious desserts. She values life’s simple moments and brings that same appreciation and care into her daily work.
